News Topic : "Rodolfo González Ono offered a seminar on attraction of FDI in the State of Guanajuato, to 43 regional banks of Japan at the Headquarters of the Regional Banks Association of Japan in Tokyo."
A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between the Government of the State of Guanajuato in Mexico and Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) on the 22nd of February 2016. Following this event, we, as the representative office of the Secretariat of Economic Development of the State of Guanajuato in Japan, performed a seminar to inform about the very positive environment for the foreign direct investment in the State of Guanajuato.
The Seminar was held at the banks’presidents’board meeting room at the Regional Banks Association of Japan in Tokyo. A total of 49 guests from 43 regional banks in Japan attended the seminar, as well as the executives from JBIC and the Association.
The MOU intends to support Japanese small-medium sized companies through Japanese regional banks to accelerate the expansion of overseas business operations in the state of Guanajuato,with the cooperation of JBIC and the Regional Banks Association of Japan.
Presentations by the Trade Commission of Mexico (PROMEXICO) in Japan and Banco Nacional de Mexico (BANAMEX) also took place in the same seminar.
